What Is Bone Haus?

A production brewery and taproom in Fountain Hills, Arizona, where small-batch craft beer meets history, mystery, art, and warm hospitality. Our catacomb-inspired Haus is a place to gather, belong, and live deliberately.

The Bone Houses

Our name comes from the ossuaries and catacombs we visited across Europe. In those warmly lit chambers, the bones of monks and townsfolk become remarkable works of art. What began as a final resting place becomes something for the living: a place for reflection, inspiration, and celebration.

Memento Mori

Remember that you will die. At Bone Haus, that thought is an invitation to appreciate the life in front of you. Make time for your people. Follow your curiosity. Let an ordinary afternoon become a memory worth keeping.

From Europe to Arizona Territory

The story takes root here in Arizona, where mining, treasure, and adventure shaped desert life in the late 1800s. Lost mines, frontier characters, and the mysteries of the Superstition Mountains give our European inspiration a home in the Arizona Territory.

Meet Hans Von Biermann

Every Haus needs a character. Meet Hans Von Biermann, a familiar skeletal face in the Bone Haus mythology. He belongs to a world of desert legends, lost mines, and stories that refuse to stay buried.

For now, follow the trail through our beers. Their names and stories offer a window into the lore behind the Haus.

The Beer Comes First

The bones set the scene. The beer earns your next visit.

Every batch gets our attention from brew day through fermentation, conditioning, and packaging. We taste and evaluate at every stage, aiming for a pour that is fresh, balanced, and true to its character.

Core favorites, rotating seasonals, and limited releases keep the story moving. Check the current tap list to see what is pouring today.

Welcome to the Haus

Warm light. Weathered wood. A few questionable characters from Arizona's past. And room for you.

Settle into the taproom, enjoy the dog-friendly patios, or plan a visit around food trucks, live music, trivia, and music bingo. The setting is unusual. The welcome is easy.
